turns out one of the internal clips busted off, there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it

Got bored tonight, so I took my case out and noticed the stock exhaust fan (in the back) that I took out and replaced with a better fan was just sitting around on the floor. So I figured I have to put this fan somewhere. Was reading around and noticed someone else took the mesh off of the intake side fan, so I did that, and took the leftover fan and used it on top of the other intake fan on the side. (I used zip ties thru the mounting holes to hold the second fan in position... ghetto I know...) Plugged it in and man it is moving a lot of air. Great for cooling down my video card since it is right over it. Noticed 4-5 degrees temperature difference on both my graphics card and overall system.

already replaced the window & rear fan with coolermaster R4 blue led fans. 24 celcuis is about average right now

I got the blue led R4's also, got an extra one and don't know what to do with it???

Changed my rad fans to Feser noiseblockers the 55mm ones and my 1055T idles at 19C

Also changed the top 140's to Yate's with blue leds.
Makes a hell of a difference in temps just by changing fans!!!

Has anyone thought of changing the front intake fan layout? I mean swapping them from the bottom to the top spots. I know the case will need some moding but do you guys think it could be done? Instead of having the drives on the top I want them on the bottom and swap the fans to the top to blow more air at the CPU. Ideas anyone???

I think the originator of this thread did this and I considered it. However, I see a problem with doing that.

If you place a front intake at the top of the case, the air being sucked in is going to immediately meet the exhaust effect of the 140mm top exhaust fan. Heres a diagram:

You are right but where my CPU socket is located I think doing the fan layout like your diagram would take away even more heat cause, fact is heat rises and I do have a GTX480 under my CPU and the diagramed fan layout would force air from both sides of the CPU socket out the top of the case...

And what could I do with an extra CM R4??? Not into mickey mousing either...LOL
