Contact NZXT and RMA the fan... they'll most likely send you a new one at no cost. It may take a while, but they've replaced two of my faulty parts free of charge. Just make sure you have your proof or purchase handy.

As for the temps, try making your rear fan an intake and see what happens. Or maybe you can try reapplying your TIM.

Just cleaned out my rig, took all the things inside and brush it off with horsehair brush, Removed the mesh on the side panel. Fan is now 10x better.

I agree 100% that side panel mesh thing blocks so much air it's retarded, good call on removing it. Now lets see the improvement pics?

I just Realized that having a modular PSU is worthless, I used all my cables exept for one, And having a non modular PSU will be cleaner because the cables are fixed to the right, unlike a modular PSU.

Well Ill just sell this later on and grabe a GS800

Well, i went through this entire thread, all 92 pages, and i can honestly say that i feel poooooor!!! lol. Anyway, i decided that i would post:
THE POOR MANS TEMPEST EVO

Don't be too harsh about the image quality, i couldn't find our digital camera, so i had to shoot these pics w/ my ipod nano.

Here's my first Tempest. It was originally my first build, but has since been modified. The case itself is fairly stock. I've loved every minute of it, but it's about time to upgrade to the Tempest Evo. I should be placing my order for my new system sometime this week! But for now, this system supports most of my needs.

I just wish I had an appropriate place to display it. If I can find a more visible place that works, I'd love to deck it out. I hate having it in the cubby as I'm sure there's better air circulation outside of it.

Both the LED's on the front died during my move from Hawaii to California as well as one LED on the side fan. Eventually I'm going to go to Liquid Cooled.
