Oak Case Stand for Quantum Reality

QR ordered a case stand to improve ventilation on his CM 690. It's a simple affair but still has taken me a bit of time to put together.

Basically it's like a mini WaterBoard ...just a pair of nice looking Oak boards with chamfered edges joined by a pair of polished aluminum tubes and all thread rods and chrome acorn nuts.

The CM 690 has odd feet so I decided to use some large aluminum angle to support the case rather than position the tubes between them.

Just because I wanted to I slapped a coat of MinWax PolyAcrylic satin over the Oak after sanding it to 320. This will ensure the wood does not get dirty.

Sorry about the delay but I spent the better part of the morning getting my truck out of the woods. Had to drop some trees and ended up denting my baby pretty bad getting out of the muck. All that to save myself a few yards carrying a sheet of plywood...hooo boy.
