No 8's yet, but this board is looking promising. No coldbug at -186.

So far only 7.8ish ghz with this board.
I think my entry level dice/ln2 combo pot might be a limiting factor because it's tough to get and keep the temps down low enough for high clocks. Not enough base mass and surface area. If I give it more than 1.8 volts it's hard to get the temps low. Took me 45 minutes to coax the temps down to -180 to get this
validation at 1.93v.
The 7.8+ clocks definitely need -185 temps. It won't go higher than 7.3 Ghz unless it's at least -135.
I think it'll take a few days and a lot of LN2, but this board just might do it.
Freakin' time consuming work. I can't really tinker in BIOS for more than a few seconds after a BSOD at -180 or it won't cold boot back in. When that happens I have to wait for it to warm back up to -70 to boot. Guess I should bring a hair dryer down...but I already get complaints from the sleepyheads about the fan noise at 1 am......
