Then take your parts to a powder coating facility and spend more money. Then spend just a little bit more money to get the padded envelopes and set aside some more money to pay all that shipping and then if you are a real glutton for punishment try and sell it on a forum where everyone thinks they know more than you do...despite the fact you are the one doing the work.

I think by the time you do all that you'd not be giving them away at cost...you'd want compensation for both the idea and the work it took to bring that idea into an actual product.
woah woah woah.. whats with the negativity.. did I say ANYWHERE in my post that I disagree with the asking price of the finished product.. Quite the contrary to be honest. I in fact said I agree with your asking price. I also stated if my application called for one, I'd have NO problem sending $ your way. On top of that, I praised the idea, and said it was a 'GREAT' alternative, to the other items of similar function. I can only imagine the amount of planing and designing needed for something like this. Not to mention, the tools required to reproduce it. Either you COMPLETELY misunderstood my post, or you just felt the need to respond in a very bounderish way..

I will once again state, that i think its a GREAT idea. Here I'll even bold it, maybe this time you'll see it..

I'm gonna have to report that post

Hey I'm a little touchy...I always get my period on a Full Moon.

My apologies for misunderstanding.

I just made a test of the strength of this mounting system using overlong tubes (6") which are less rigid than 4" length tube mounts. I'll post the video shortly. The mount easily resisted 50 pounds of force without significant deflection and showed no signs of strain or deformation.

Did you watch the vid? 50 Pounds load showed no deformation. The question is really can the chassis of the PC case hold a Monsta Rad...if load is less than 50 pounds...probably yes.

It could hold 50 lbs so I imagine it could hold anything you could mount. Great work CD.

I'm satisfied that the system works. When I get the parts back from the powdercoaters I'll package them up and list them FS.

Thanks for the interest guys.
