Windows 7 won't read SD card

Thread Starter
Ok so I have this card reader in my computer. It has 1 USB 2.0 port, 1 CF card reader, and 1 SD/MMC/xD/MS/MS Pro reader. If I plug something into the USB port like a flash drive, Windows reads it fine. But, if I plug in a SD card, nothing happens. No sound is made, it doesn't show up in my computer, and it doesn't show up in device manager. I know the card works because I just took some pictures with it in my camera and the card reader worked fine with Vista.

So, whats wrong with it?

Unfortunately, Windows 7 is still so new that not everything works properly with it. Fortunately, most things are working with it, but every once in a while somebody runs into something that absolutely will not work no matter what, and this looks like one of those occasions.

However, does this device use specific drivers?

Nope, no drivers. It just plugs into a port on the MOBO that says USB 1.
EDIT: I tried it with my MS Pro stick too but that didn't work either. It's so weird because the USB port on it works fine.

It has to have something to do with 7. After all, it's still pretty new and support is pretty limited. Or, rather, not "pretty limited", but just "a little bit". My bad.

Hmm.. hopefully they'll release an update that'll fix it. This card reader has been extremely useful and I'd hate to have to go buy a usb one.

Go to device manager, right click PCI Flash Bus and then install the drivers. I bet they're missing.

I didn't see PCI Flash Bus anywhere. Here's a ss of the card reader I'm talking about. It says it's working properly.
