Alright, so, my Dell Vostro has completely stopped working, not sure why. It worked fine this morning at 4 AM, I then turned it off, and went to sleep. I woke up 4 hours later, turned on the laptop, and tried to use the touchpad. Nothing. So I logged in, searched for updated drivers, didn't find any. I then proceeded to Uninstall the device, and rebooted. The BIOS found the touchpad and said the mouse was initialized (I didn't have an external mouse plugged in at the time). After the OS booted, the same error message came up in the device manager.
Now to clarify, the left and right "mouse" buttons are not working either. I am not sure what happened.
I am wondering if I should call up Dell and ask them to replace the entire thing, because so many things are going wrong with it at the moment.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix or solve the issue. Thanks.
