Illusive Man has synthetic eyes just like Shepard... maybe he was rebuilt as well... just more "primitive" and "less parts" were exchanged...

and why not use Miranda? she is THE BEST team member! she can increase Health, AND Firepower of the ENTIRE squad! and her powers are really useful as well!

I thought it was generally agreed on that Miranda's a must have in your squad o.O

Well you can tell its a good game if that's all I have to moan about
Thanks!

I'm a headshot machine so that is the best headgear for me.

But you're right, there's not a whole hell of a lot to ***** about, although I still like a lot of various things about the first one better in regards to controls and inventory.

Miranda is good, she's just not the best choice for providing the biotic barrier. When you get to the end of "The Long Walk" Miranda just collapses, whereas Jack gets mad and does force push and knocks everyone back so no-one gets hurt.

Never tried Miranda but Jack did that for me on my first playthrough despite her and my squad being loyal. Second time I used Samara and she knocked everyone back.

that's why you use her in your squad, rather than for biotic bubble... you get boosted health and attack while a better biotic takes care of the bubble...

unless your Garrus and Jacob are both not loyal or dead... then you're forced to use her as the leader on the defense instead

Miranda and Garrus are my squads bread and butter, use them all the time.

Yea, Samara and Jack do pretty much the same thing provided they are loyal

I dunno if Morinth has the same thing or not. Although she does have that posses power, maybe that would come in handy.

Hmmm..... maybe have Mordin and Miranda.... that would be a devastating combo. Heavy warp + mega incinerate.

I've used Grunt a lot, he's a freakin tank. Then I'd either pick a techie or a biotic like Mordin, used him a lot too, to compliment the team since I'm a soldier; although, I did have that advanced training and had biotic powers too.

But Garrus and Legion make a hell of a combo.

In order for the team to make it at the rendez-vous point, you need someone to create a biotic field and make that final push at the end. In both my playthroughs, I chose Samara because she was very loyal and her biotic display impressive. In my opinion, Samara is far more experienced than patient zero, Morinth, Jacob and Miranda. Jack is far too unpredictable and enjoys killing with a fiery passion. Add to that the fact that she wasn't loyal, of course I did not choose her to create the biotic field. Jacob is a soldier and a born leader. He can command respect and will give his life in order to complete his orders. He sees Sheppard as a God and has the utmost respect for him. Morinth is like Jack, unpredictable and will kill for fun. Miranda is not the right person to create a biotic field. She is like Chuck, overwhelmed with feelings and because she has this perfect image of herself, desire to stand up to it, she will screw up. The guys from BioWare seem to have fooled many players with a simple line , Miranda:'Anyone with biotic powers can do that.' This contradicts how the game panned out up to that point. You run around the Galaxy to build this team. You get to know them and start to make an opinion about them and their contributions to the final mission. As time passes you start to see their weaknesses and lack of team-play. You do not put in charge of teams or give responsibilities to members who are unpredictable, loners and blood thirsty. When someone here posted the "How to lose everyone" in the final mission, my character assessment was confirmed. Wrong choices lead to deaths and this is where BioWare took the game to the next level. The complexity of the game is stunning but also the level of social interaction. This is a game where people can learn the foundation of diplomacy, team work, and free riding. I would buy games like this to support this industry because it gives an opportunity to the yougsters to learn something else than sell drugs, steal cars, be a pimp, kill people, and mock the english language with their lack of vocabulary.

I don't think there is a progress bar in ME2. Just play through at whatever pace you want and enjoy it There is still plenty to discover and new characters to play on 2nd and 3rd playthroughs if you are not wanting it to end
