Agreed. I waited for a good AM2 board just because I knew that was the next standard, and boy am I glad I did. Still, there was a lot of wait time due to minimal or insignificant advancements across potential upgrades. I currently run a Kuma (AM2+ Phenom minus 2 cores = "Kuma core") in my AM2 board, and that wasn't much of a jump from my 2.4 GHz Windsor 2x AM2 chip.
Yes, according to my M2N thread homies, it should work well. Psyched. I just wonder if the board will limit the CPU in some way (other than by not using the on-die RAM controller). Thanks, all. |
