Remember to support he back end of the card since, you would be removing black metal shroud and stock coolers. The shroud gives support to entire length of pcb so with the weight of (2) zalmans the back end of the card will need some supporting to prevent sagging.
im about 90% sure this wont work as the bridge chip is centered between the two with its own heat sink, the two gpu heatsinks are machined to allow the bridge heatsink to fit

The zalmans have already been proven to fit and work well. This is an old question. Please see the 4850 X2 owners thread in my sig for pics and temps.
