i wanna know if i can remove the harddrive cage and put it to 5 1/2 drive bay area?
Welcome to the thread mate!!

Yeh what you can do is remove the hard drive cage entirely, but I have to admit, ive never tried to actually fit it in the 5 1/2 bay area. 3 screws, 2 @ the bottom and 1 in through the bottom of the hard drive bay hold in the cage.

Id suggest getting one of these to help out your situation!

Must be a British thing.

It's an abbreviation of ..."the dogs bollocks": meaning that something is particularly good. It fits with several other terms like: "The bee's knees", "the cat's pyjamas", or "the badger's nadgers."

It can be shortened either way e.g if someone purchases a new car and says: "Mate, it's the bollocks!" or: "It's the dog's!"

Basically, I like! Haha
It'll do for now.

You can get smaller ones if you only need 2 or 3 hard drives. It is Lian Li though so its to be expected

I fed mine up with the ports facing the exhaust fans at the top - kinda like you are gonna plug the connector into the fan, then (carefully) used a pair of long-nosed pliers to twist them into the cavity.

Be careful with the pliers though - you could feasibly break something if you lose your temper.
It'll do for now.
