I will be putting a W/C loop in my K62 soon with a GT Stealth 280 in the top of the casing where the 140MM fans are currently, and two 140MM fans inside the case, pulling air down through the rad/exhausting air up through the rad.

I'm hoping that I might be able to route the CPU power cable around the side of the fan, but i'm not sure...

last night I look and measure on my pc, then I think the configuration can't be done because 3 cm clearance is so tight. plus my mainboard (msi z68 gd65) maybe will get contact the rad with the top vrm heatsink. also about 4+4pin power cable, in my measurement , it will get stuck there because rad block the hole completely or maybe not but in other word.. the rad will not be able installed normally if the cable remains there..maybe I just stick with my h80 for now,, biggrin.gif
So you'll remove the plastic case then..yea I also not sure about the routing cable, but hope you'll succeed with that W/C loop config,, thumb.gif
It looks like you'll have some "snakes" if you made it biggrin.gif
let me know if you find mistake on my measurement,, I still hoping to get h110 my the case tongue.gif

The 280MM radiator will go up where the two 140MM fans are in the top. It will fit underneath the plastic casing without any modification, and the intake/outlet ports on the radiator line up perfectly with the two existing holes in the top rear of the case biggrin.gif

It will fit because i'll make it fit. If I have any trouble routing the CPU power cable, i'll either try and route it flat behind the board (it has individually braided wires) or extend the existing hole. We'll see thumb.gif

I cant decide if I should spray my K62 like this:

Or the same but gloss white...

I am going to try my damndest to mask up the center bars of the front bezel at the bottom to avoid them being silver/white and the drive cover ones being black, cos that looks naff.

Hey guys, newcomer here. Glad to be a K62 owner. It's also my first build.

Very nice chingyg! Looks very tidy indeed!

Better than mine that's for sure because I don't have all-black cables, and my GPU power goes in the side instead of the end frown.gif

Enjoy the dust build-up with all those fans haha. The K-62 is like a Dyson rolleyes.gif

I see...

ASRock Z77 Extreme 4
8/16GB Vengeance Blue (?)
EVGA GTX560TI
Soundblaster Titanium HD
Zalman CNPS9900-MAX Blue
Raidmax RX - something PSU
Xigmatek XLF's w' NZXT Sentry Mesh

Care to fill in the blanks? biggrin.gif

I'm going to guess 3570K..? thumb.gif

Wow! Right on the money. It's a Raidmax RS 530W. I regret the PSU...didn't do enough research on what "hybrid modular" was. You were right with the RAM too. Only other thing missing is the BitFenix Alchemy LED Strips and a 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 7200RPM drive.

I had never heard of Raidmax before very recently. I have no idea what the quality of the units are like. It doesn't seem too bad, but the website doesn't specify how much wattage is on the 12v rails, just specifies that there is 514W shared between the +5v, +3.3v and 12v. I would guess therefore that it's something like 350 - 380W on the 12V, which is fine for a GTX560TI so I wouldn't worry too much. smile.gif

You would do well to replace it with something better if you wish to upgrade the GPU though.

I have the Spinpoint F3 1TB, it seems like a nice drive smile.gif Never given me any trouble in the 2 years i've had it.

Same here.

I still feel like buying a new one and modding the crap out of it.
