Hmm thats odd. Make sure you didn't reverse the plug to the motherboard. Might need to be flipped?

Hi every one, i'm thinking of getting a lancool case to use at home, though i've read in some reviews the fans are a bit noisy and give a wind tunnel effect...?

Also as the fans are quite shallow, they can't be replaced by the Scythe fans as they are 25mm deep and the lancool are only 15mm.

Is this the case (excuse the pun)

I'd be interested to know what some of you's have done to lower the noise levels (with out water cooling that is !)

Cheers

I don't think they are too loud, the wife doesn't even complain and she usually does a good deal of that.
They are louder than her PC but my 5850 is louder once its fan gets to about 35%

All the fans in this case are 25mm thick and they are reasonably quiet. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, then get yourself a fan controller so that you can adjust the fan speed/noise to your preference. This case is not particularly well suited to an internal water cooling setup. If you want to straddle the air cooling/water cooling divide you can try a Corsair H50.
