I can't say for the Scythe Kama Bay, but I do have that exact same Lian Li fan module and it matches perfectly with my brother's Lancool case.

Hi

For me, I have two top optical drive bays occupied, ended up using a spare 120 fan in the meantime in the left over bays, fits snug, have it wedged in tight at the moment with packers, probably zip tie for extra peace of mind.

Have ordered the Lian Li 120mm fan at 1500rpm led blue which will replace it, a little bit more air flow over my Vapor x 5870 card as its along card across the case, and to match the led lower front fan.

Also ordered 1 x Lian Li 140mm fan at 1200rpm led blue, either for lower front replacement or one of the upper two exhaust fans as I have an H50 coller installed, depending on where best the air flow is needed.

Hope that helps a little.

Thanks, I think i'm gonna go with the Lian Li Cage, and put a blue LED fan in there.

Also here's my system!

I still have some work to do with cables, but I've been putting it off, waiting for my 8pin extension cable so it doesn't have to reach over my GPU like it does now.

Hello everyone!

I'm new to the family but not new to computers. I got my Dragonlord case a few weeks ago. I included a pic at the bottom. It's a sweet case.

Love the case. Like some have already pointed out, the fans included by Lian Li are a bit underpowered. I've been fooling around with the configuration of the fans and the Corsair H50 on the i5 750 @ 3.8Ghz, haven't found something to settle on yet. But the even with the stock fans, the case cools very well. Even at 3.8GHz, my max cpu temp at load never goes north of 52C.

My previous system was based around a Phenom II X3 720 with a cheapo Coolermaster case.

Does anyone find their K62 gets really dusty? It's the first proper case I've ever had, and so perhaps it's just a result of the airflow. However mine gets alot of dust. Enough to turn a black component more or less completely grey within a few weeks. It lives in the computer desk, in it's own surround, except it sits on 1inch of wood on the bottom, rather than carpet.

I peeled off 1 thin layer of toilet roll (peeled from standard piece, doesn't restrict flow) and added it to the mesh on the HD Fan part on the front panel to try and help. Honestly, It too months for my previous case to get this dusty. Then again it only have an Exhaust Fan.

Similarly, is there any sort of repellent sprays you can get for the outer plastic? Being black, and plastic, it attracts alot of dust. At least it's more visible anyway. I thought I might get some car Dashboard cleaner to spray on. That stuff is anti-static, which might help.

Can you also add me to the club as well. Anyways i just got one today unfortunately it came with scratched side windows with scratches near the windows tightening screws and the surface which im pretty disappointed. This is the first Lian Li case i brought if u count Lancool as Lian Li and i expect good quality. However i contacted my computer retailer and they told me to send them some photos and i will see what they can do about it. Btw i have a question for you guys, my motherboard doesn't have enough 3pin connectors for all the fans on the case so i only manage to get 1 fan running in the case and i only have 1 connector left but unfortunately the wire is too short so it out of reach do you guys know what can i do to get them all running thanks.

Isn't it spring time where you are at? There would be a lot of pollen in the air. You can always buy some thin filter foam and add them to the existing meshes, increases filtration at the cost of some airflow.

The only way I've ever effectively dealt with dust is to use compressed air and spray down the case every now and then to dust it off.

Or you could always paint your case gray, it'll blend right in with the dust. I kid, I kid.

Cannot unsee! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. I also had issues like him with cable length. But I was able to squeeze my cable around the edges of the board. Wish I had considered that when I bought the case to save on shipping cost. Just to get an extension with shipping and import duty from the USA, it's going to run me up north of $30 USD.

You can get 3-pin extensions. I bought them at the same as I got the case. A few owners mentioned the need for them. If you run out of 3-pin connectors on your motherboard, you can always buy 3-pin y-splitters, molex-to-3pin or a fan-controller.
