[Official] Lancool Dragonlord Owners Thread!! - Page 70

Thread Starter
Well, what more is there to say but ITS GOOD TO BE BACK!!

Far out I have missed these forums. Im so glad to return from my very long work trip to see this case has flourished and so many people are buying it!!

The real magic though has been from the boys that have constantly been helping out people with their questions!!

I have spent the last hour going over the posts and reading what everyone, old and new has been up to!! Plus making the much needed additions to our roster!!

So without further delay:

Oh wow, cool. I didn't ever expect to see this thread updated again. Huge plus rep! Must have took quite a while

Plus I was looking forward to see what my "comment" would be. And yes the cable management isn't bad thanks, hehe.

Did you modify your case or is that how your case is? (I'm referring to where the Xigmatek fan is)

Just how my case is, a 140mm fits so perfect it almost feels like lian-li designed it that way. Although if you had 2 optical drives installed I'm not sure if it would fit, you can see it barely fits and get overlapped by my fan controller up top.

Hi,

If you have two optical drives taken up as I do, the only option is a 120mm fan above the 140 at the front.

I got a Lian li 120mm led blue fan at 1500rpm, was ok, but I now have it in a push/pull config with my Corsair H50 unit. I used a plain Lian Li 120mm 1500rpm in the optical bay, works fine enough and lights bit more of the case..although in a pull config I have with the H50, the led effect is somewhat lost, its the radiator that gets to see it..lol

I also noticed the led on the 120mm 1500rpm is not same colour as the 140 below it on mine, maybe the differnet rpm's of the two fans affects the colouring. Anyways its moved for now.

Liking the case so far, thats for sure.

Awesome, I was just measuring that hole yesterday and comparing it to the 140mm fan down at the bottom. Everyone seems to be using 120mm's in that spot, but its good to know that someone else had the same idea and that it works . Did you put any sort of padding or does it not vibrate since it is such a snug fit?

... OH! That's the FRONT of the case. Sorry, I was thinking it was the top of the case. LOL. I was looking at the top of my case and I couldn't understand why it was different.. until I took the front cover off. oops.
