I'm curious, has anyone looked into changing the LED's for the power/hdd activity lights? I noticed there is a blue and blue/red LED on the top. Since I am switching everything to orange with my Xiggy's I thought about swapping them for orange and white/red (I have never seen a white/orange LED yet). I just don't know what specs the LED's are, and most products don't seem to tell you either. Or would trying to get that thing dismounted be a complete pain in the butt and not worth it?

There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to release the LEDs. At least, not a good way to get any sort of tool in there. I imagine they have a clip similar to the power/reset switches that you would have to release from the inside.

For specs, it shouldn't really matter what the current ones are as they connect directly to the motherboard. Just look up what is coming out at that pin-out (I don't have the time right now to look it up, sorry) and you should be able to figure out what you need. Or there might be lights that are marketed as direct replacements.

That is of course if you can get them out in the first place.

Edit: It occurred to me that maybe you curious about the size of the LED and not the electrical specs. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure they are 3mm. If you can get it out it should be easy enough to measure.

Technically I meant both, since I don't know that much about electronics. I figured since I was going to be purchasing the LED's to make my Rheobus Extreme orange, I might as well get them for the power buttons and such while I was at it.

I'm not sure what size or voltage to get though. I checked through my manual and all it seems to say is + / - on the pins, unlike some of the other diagrams where it actually says 5v, 12v, etc. I'm not sure what value it is.

Did you have to take out the drive bays or cages to get to the switches? Or just have it all empty up there. If I have to pull half the computer apart for it I will just say electrical tape is my final answer.

Looks good, I like the black/white look. Needs more white!

I finally "finished" my build. I don't want to flood this forum with all of the photos I took. Here's a few:
