I have the four stock fans that come with the K62. I then have an additional 2x Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000rpms (loud, I know!)

What I'm thinking is:

1. Turn the drive tower 90 degrees to allow for greater stream of air from theh bottom front fan intake
2. Remove the rear fan and place it in the front (in the 5.25 bays and above the bottom front intake fan) to get a pull instead of a push, to bring in positive pressure
3. Turn my CPU cooler (venomous x) and Ultra Kazes so they point UP to the 2x fans instead of BACK to the rear.

I figure this would balance the pressure with 2xIn 2xOut. It will also be (I supppose) the most efficient as it's shooting the already rising CPU heat straight out up the top, and not splitting the stream between the rear fan and top fans.

And finally, it will allow for a swift swooping motion shaped like a boomerang of air, without having splits or diverges.

I suppose the GPU fan will be sucking air from inside and shooting it out the back, so that will be a minor divergance.

Anyway, any thoughts/suggestions? I've also thought about taking one of the Ultra 3000rpms from the CPU and putting it on the front bottom intake to get a strong sweeping motion to rush up the case, but I'm not sure if it's wise or recommended to only leave one fan on a CPU heatsink (does it matter?)
anyone?

I did this, but I didn't find it made much difference. Removing drive trays I'm not using helped a little bit.

Basically the setup below, but measuring from the inside (starting from the bottom of the where the top fan is mounted here, to the bottom of the dvd-drive). Then also...the depth of the bays (from front of the case to the back of the bay). I'd be very appreciative.
There is a sketchup model for the k-58. It should help you do most of those measurements, and a lot of others. Sadly, it is not layered or anything so inside measurements are a bit of a pain, but it should still help a bit.
