Questions about FX 3500 Quadro

Hi there, ok, so i'm buying the FX3500 Quadro off a guy for about $80, I'm going to test it first though! I went online to get the drivers and the FX3500 product says in only supports directx 9, but the drivers on nvidia says it supports directx 9 and directx 10! So which is it? Also, does the FX3500 work good with blu ray support? Also, does anyone know how fast the clock speed is for the graphics card? Thanks!

It only supports DX9, the Quadro drivers aren't only for the 3xxx series. It is for the much newer ones too!

I assume you're using it for CAD, that kind of stuff? I suppose 80 isn't a bad deal for it if you need it for that. If you want to game on it, it'd be a very poor way to spend your $80. That card is I'm almost certain a 7900GS or GT, which for sure doesn't support DX10, and I'm sure the quadro version would be inferior for gaming vs. an actual 7900GS/GT. As an asided, AFAIK the difference with the quadro's is really just differences in bios/drivers ... the card is actually physically the same as the mainstream card it's based on. But I'm not positive on that so don't quote me

lol i could sell you one for 75, thats a 7900GS Quadro, ill just flash my 7900GT to enable Quadro features and sell it to you for 75 and you get 12 more pipelines
