Xbox 360 Hard Drive - Page 3

Yes read this here:
http://www.anandtech.com/systems/sho...spx?i=2610&p=5

It sasy its just a serial ata notebook hard drive, so you could just use a sata plug and plug in any old notebook hard drive.

Quote:
The drive itself uses a standard Serial ATA connector (both data cable and power cable) so attaching other drives or the Xbox 360 drive to a computer for data transfer is very possible.

I know it wouldnt have the Xbobx 360 bios but could you plug the HD into your computer, upload a hacked bios like EVOx and then plug it into the 360 and use that instead of the normal one?
I also heard that the bios aren't on the hard drive of the 360 like they were on the xbox...they're on the mobo.

That is where I got my question from. Because I have an exta 120gig HD sitting around doing nothing and supposing I could get a different bios, load it on, and use that I would get the core package. Im going to search for any ideas on the bios now and see if the bios is on the HD or the mobo.
