I like it, too because the novels are so rich and verbose that it is hard to maintain a visual perspective of the characters and settings. The comic gives me something to see and is very close to what I had already imagined.
you know at one point wheel of time became a pen and paper game right?

No, I didn't know that. That's funny, all things considered. I grew up on pnp D&D (Basic, 1979), but in no way have the time to do it any more. Shoot, I hardly have the time for occasional MMO now.

I am still all about pen and paper gaming, my wife and I rock out at D+D with my tattoo artist every sunday.

That is great man. I am glad for that. I would be playing still if not for a billion reasons. Not the least of which is that no one plays AD&D anymore and I can't stand the versions since then. I didn't memorize the THACO tables for nothing, dammit.

If you're interested in the Bane series let me know, I have two copies of the first book.

(Yes, I realize I am quoting somone from years ago. I told you I have ADD. )

I bought the new Goodkind novel, The Omen Machine: A Richard and Kahlan Story today. It is set immediately after the conclusion of Confessor. I will tell you if I like it soon.

I am about 1/2 way through and here are my initial feelings.

The print type is a bit large, almost as if they were trying to fill out a larger book than it really is.

The story is a lot more straight forward than previous Rahl novels.

Without spoiling anything, this book seems to focus on prophecy (hence the title). However, at the point I am at, I have not yet reached the apex of the story line.

So far I give it a thumbs up for me, Dave.

I just finished Confessor last week. I'm gonna finish reading Debt of Bones and start on this one so I appreciate the review.
