Probably the 6600 because its got newer tech, and will be better in newer games.

Can I ask how much you're expecting to pay? Cos I found this last night and it yields over twice as much performance over the 9800pro in certain benchmarks.

Gecube X800GTO

The Gecube version is overclocked and performs similar to a 6800GT.

Not that much. IM only wanting to spend about 65 pound. Ive found somewhere on ebay selling refurbished 9800pros for 59 pound so i was just wondering if it was a decent deal

The 9800 Pro would be better than a vanilla 6600. If you could get a 6600GT, then that would be better.

Ati cards can run directX games (i.e. hl2) better than nvidia cards but even despite that edge the 9800 pro beats the 6600 comfortably.

6600GT on the other hand would beat the 9800 pro at resolutions above 1024x768 by a max of around 6fps.
