I can have one or the other. Now which is better? Tight timings or bandwidth.

This is not very high-end ram here, I'm lucky I have the timings I do.

And what's so hard to believe that 2T timing is worse?? it is. I ran Sandra bandwidth test and 2T timing lowers my bandwidth by about 200-400MB per second.

yes, synthetic benchmarks take a drastic hit with all things equal (RAM frequency and timings) with just a switch from 1T to 2T... however, real life applications and games see only a small change. So your 20-30% synthetic performance hit turns into a 1-5% real world hit.

I've read up on this quite a bit and seen tests to prove it. I was concerned about running 2T because my board won't run 2T past 240fsb even though I have TCCD memory.

I can run my memory at 240 1T with no problem at all. It's just when I try to tighten the timings at 240 that encounter problems. I can't even enable 2T and go above 240. So instead I just tighten my memory.
