nvidia control panel settings for WoW

title says it all, just dont understand how the latest and greatest "graphics wise" games run great but WoW struggles. bad code? thanks for any help.

I run in single mode for world of warcraft (no tri-sli, because wow doesn't favor sli setups, I actually get better performance with a single card) and use a gtx-260 c216 55nm superclocked edition @ 702/1404/1053 and run all ultra settings except shadows (those are all the way down because they are horribly optimized for the game).

55-60fps in dalaran, in raiding it never drops below 45fps.

Make sure the shadow detail is turned off in the Video Options, for some reason that setting is a FPS killer.
