Used to play, was addicted, quit it, life is much better now. That crap made me gain weight after awhile, if I never played it i'd be about 40 pounds lighter. Honestly, the games pretty fun, but its dangerously addicting, literally its all I played for about 2 years strait. Good thing I quit too, because I got banned like 3 times and just kept waisting my life making more accounts. I guess it really depends if you know your limits or not
M3T4l you have a point. I was addicted about 3 years ago i would play every day for 10 hours. I even got kicked out of school for sleeping to much in class because i stayed up all night playing it. I used to have a Red Phat around 2 years ago thats what i was doing on rs making law runs to buy the phat but i gave it away to a rl friend free along time ago. Since then ive learned my limits i play it about 5 hours a week now. I have a wife and a child now so i cant play like i used to , now my real goal in life is to work and provide for me and my family.

your decision to sit around in a computer chair all day not moving is what made you gain weight. Dont blame the game.
Anywho i played runescape when i was about 13 for a year or so. I eventually quit because all my friends stopped playing and then i moved onto other games. The playerbase of runescape imo is almost as bad as WoW's.

Yes my decision to play did, but it was due to the addiction, same thing. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

QFT a fair few years back I got seriously into it as well and literally had to get someone to drag me away from it and then give my account away so I didn't want to play it anymore.
Awsome , my username is Qiyamata1 got it from my rl friend who used to play but quit , his was Qiyamata. He told me the name meant (ressurection of the devil) but i dunno lol.
If OCN didnt make it so hard to post pics id put up a screen shot. And i havent done it in a while , how do i go about posting some in game pics on here?
I really miss the old days , ive been playing for oh.... 6 years. Lol remember when people wore d chain and d sq + d med with zammy legs cause d legs wernt out lol????? And d longsword was the thing to have :/ Paid 32M for first chain , 33M for first purple and 11M for first whip. Money was so easy to make back then.
Lol, I remember when people ran around in Dragon Medium helmets, chainmail body, legs, and you were rich. If you were SUPER rich, you had some Barrows armor.
I have a lvl107 and a lvl75 that used to be a ranged/mage pure.
It used to actually be fun before they made it 'safe and secure'.
Now it's unbearably lame.
