Pretty terrible CPU IMO. Overclocks terribly, slow to begin with.. not much to be said here heh. Plus it runs hot.

For that price get a phenom II
Slow, does not overclock runs hot as hell! The 1st phenoms are somthing AMD will want to forget

No it is a horrible CPU, especially for gaming. Phenom's that end in 00 have the TLB erratum error.

If you want a good gaming CPU, get the Phenom II x2 550 or Phenom II x3 720.

Buy an am3 cpu, not am2+. Go with x3 720 and a different cooler. After you overclock it a little you have the best gaming processor on the market right now.

No, your motherboard does support it. AM3 is backwards compatible with AM2+ motherboards but not vice versa. You should flash to newest bios to be sure.

Look at CPU support list, the Phenom II x3 720 is on there
