Pretty terrible CPU IMO. Overclocks terribly, slow to begin with.. not much to be said here heh. Plus it runs hot.

Slow, does not overclock runs hot as hell! The 1st phenoms are somthing AMD will want to forget

No it is a horrible CPU, especially for gaming. Phenom's that end in 00 have the TLB erratum error.

If you want a good gaming CPU, get the Phenom II x2 550 or Phenom II x3 720.

Buy an am3 cpu, not am2+. Go with x3 720 and a different cooler. After you overclock it a little you have the best gaming processor on the market right now.

No, your motherboard does support it. AM3 is backwards compatible with AM2+ motherboards but not vice versa. You should flash to newest bios to be sure.

Look at CPU support list, the Phenom II x3 720 is on there
