True, you non-force users might have problems with that one .

Seriously though, it all depends on the psu. The wires on my Enermax atx connector are so completely tight in place that you can't probe it. You can't make any metal to metal contact with the probe, and yes I do have the small pointed probes

alright, thanks. I'll probably get into that tomorrow. I've spent probably 3 months now trying to precision tweak this system over 3.5ghz and it just hasn't been working. I guess the configuration just doesn't go together great. Oh and my hdd is a Western Digital Caviar 80GB 8mb cache, about a year and a few months old. I might just sell all of these parts independently on ebay and save up for a p4 3.8 extreme with aeither a ASUS P5WD2 or an Intel D955XBk. That sounds like a nice combo.

No problem. Personally, I would wait until the beginning of next year, when the 975 chipest boards come out, along with the Pressler cpu's.

I've heard about both. What's the deal on the Pressler? New Family of cpu's or what?

Yes, 65nm processor, dual cores each with 2mb cache. They will run cooler, and rumor has it that they oc like crazy! Supposedly, 4.2-4-4ghz is possible on stock air cooling, but that is just a rumor.
