It's not on the box, and it's usually not easy to check, even installed. I've yet to find any software that can read the VID of either of my i7s, and the number varies quite a bit in the BIOS.

This is why I rely on fpo/batch numbers far more than reported VIDs, at least with Bloomfield/Lynnfield.
