More HT Link & More NB Frequency = More bandwidth memory

Am I wrong
The NB speed does affect memory bandwidth.
Redo that but only mess with the HT Link.

I was able to hit 3.75Ghz Dual Core but I'm just going to keep it at stock frequency running dual core at 1.075v for use as a HTPC. This is a nice PC I've built for my $13 AR CPU

I just started playing around with my Sempron. I was able to get it to 3.03GHz but then it wouln't start up so I had to take it down to 2.9. The computer won't start if I take it over 2.93. I see so many people taking these cpus to well over 3 with hardly a problem. I was wondering if someone could direct me to what the issue might be.

Temp at idle is 31*C and it went to 37*C under load.

Voltage at 2.9 is 1.39.

hi, im just new to this overclocking business.. i want to boost my cpu to its full potential..

im reading all the articles related to it but its make me go crazy with all the settings.. x3

i got a sempron 140 and using a heatsink bundled with the processor, and a A760GE mainboard with ACC feature (tried turning it to auto but didnt unlock the 2nd core seems like my sempron was one of the latest x3..)

to reach to 3.6ghz i got an idea what are the settings for the cpu like voltage and its multiplier but i got no idea what is CPU-NB over voltage for. same with the memory but there are other settings im not familiar with like DRAM timing mode the settings are Auto, DCT 0, DCT 1, Both..

im confuse if am i going to touch the PCI/AGP/PCI-E (i got an videocard HD4650) settings like the PCI-E reference clock (set to 100mhz as default), SB reference clock (i kno that this setting was for the southbridge and set to 100mhz as default.), Spread Spectrum (Set to Disabled as default), and the GFX enging clock override (set to disabled as default as well).

there is this memory configuration tab as well and the settings are the ff:

bank interleaving (set as "auto" by default)
channel interleaving (set as "XOR of Address bit" by default)
enable clock to all dimms (set as "disabled" by default)
memclk tristate c3/ATLVID (set as "disabled" by default)
memory hole remapping (set as "enabled" by default)
DCT unganged mode (set as "always" by default)
power down enable (set as "disabled" by default)

the is this ECC configuration as well and all the settings were in "disabled" settings.

looking forward for your replies guys ^ ^
thanks and more power

2 weeks thread refresher lol..
Got one of these as spare CPU since they're really cheap, and can be unlocked too
Stable at 3.5Ghz, can't go no more as RAM limited..
but Everest scores in unlocked mode are considerably low compared to single core..
temps are low at 26 idle - 28 load on single core / 33 load on dual core..@ 1.5V

That is some good OC out of this chip! I'm sure I could get some more if it wasn't for the ram..
1.53V for the CPU NB?? thats almost the same V with your CPU are you using that 24/7?
Tried running Hawx + BC2 @ 3.5Ghz/2.6NB low fps lol.. unlocked it to dual and I gain some fps..but had to lower some details..
