Carvelo89, to increase/decrease the cpu voltage for this processor go to T-Series -> Voltage Configuration. Look for the option "CPU Vcore".

Let us know if that helps.

Fortesquieu, great question. Hopefully we see a comparison eventually. I'm assuming the Phenom II 720BE (for example) performs better because of the large L3 cache. Not to mention the additional may be helpful as well. Maybe you could get together with another Sempron 140 user and run some benchmarks

Good luck

Hahah, I was thinking that someone else would do the benchmark, then I would grab Sempron 140 if the benchies are acceptable!

Carvelo89, try adjusting the "CPU Vid" instead. This option is in T-Series -> CPU FID/VID Control. Make sure to also disabled Spread Spectrum. Do you have any CPU-Z screen shots that you could share with us? Please include the cpu and memory tab.

Good luck

well yeah under the cpu tuning the cpu vid only goes up to 1.35v and lower..cant go higher. there was a SVID Override which is disabled and that goes beyond 1.35 but im not sure how thta works. would that be what i need to adjust? ill take some screen shots now.

Edit: (added SS)

also note, that i dont have a GXE! its a GX. i can post a pic of the motherboard if you dont trust me..i dont know why the BIOS is screwed up,its how it came =[

Carvelo89, I noticed that mxthunder's second rig has the same motherboard. Perhaps he could shed some light on your question...

Heh yea, that CPU overvolt thing is very confusing. It just adds onto the regular Vcore. And it is strange how they only let you take it up to 1.35 on the regular vdd. So I have mine set to max (1.35) under the cpu FID/voltage screen, then under voltage settings? (funny I cant remember what it says, i just do it by memory, over over over, down down down enter down ++ enter esc over enter (you get the idea) ) but yea in the other voltage screen just set it to .012, .025, .038, etc and that will add to your main cpu voltage. The board allows me to go at least .2 over, so 1.55V, which is plenty.

Carvelo89, what is physically labeled on the motherboard (model number wise)? What does it say at POST? Have you tried flashing the bios?

Good luck
