I had an ASUS AMD board pull same crap on me. They will say its a safety feature. And they sent me back dead board over and over. Good luck with that.

humm a new screen came up and it says preform a disk clean up soo I said yess and it is deleting corrupt files (YN) fingers crossed

ahhhhhh, let me into windows and I was in for about 2 mins then powered off again! psu on its way out? No window popped up saying error code anymore? Im now hoping it is just my psu turning its self off under load. I sense a new "high end" psu none of the chaep rubbish any more

and sweet havent seen anyone else from middlesbrough on here, Im not technically in boro just outside. billingham to be precise. where bouts in boro ?

my extra psu Is at work in a computer. and It would be enough might take it out tomorrow and see if it works. If not I was going to buy a new one anyway. its the only thing I can thing I can think of that is causing this problem now. and IM glad my ram isnt dead then only got it about 5 days ago LOL

Foxy@OC'D, does the machine turn off while in the BIOS? Do you have a multimeter that you could use to test the power supply? Here is a great guide that explains the process on how to check each rail to make sure it's within spec (12volt, 5volt, 3.3volt): http://www.clunk.org.uk/forums/guide...ing-guide.html.
