You have to remember VIA, the chipset company who if not for, AMD would not be anywhere near as successful as it today and despite their lackluster last chipset release, their new chipset looks to return glory to a very worthy adversary. It's new weapon, the K8T900.
At long last, though, VIA says it's ready to fight back in earnest, and the chipset maker has enlisted the help of its sister company, S3 graphics, in making its push. The new K8T900 north bridge features a more robust PCI Express implementation that can divvy up its PCI Express lanes into two set of eight for better multi-GPU support, and it's paired up with the long-awaited VT8251 south bridge, sporting a full slate of next-gen I/O capabilities. Alongside this new chipset comes a new GPU family, the Chrome S20 series, ready to fire in a double-barreled GPU configuration known as MultiChrome.

I've been looking @ these chrome S27 gpu's and i'm thinking of basing my next build off of them. $115 for 256 card with a 660+ core sounds great to me

Dual cards for a total of 230 + tax leaves a good deal of money to put towards the rest of the system.

Never buying a VIA chipset ever, dont overclock worth a darn, my CPU thats at 4.01 from 2.4, could only go up to 2.6, 2.7 was unstable with my old ASROCK VIA chipset board
