Which Card Is Better?

Okay I am looking towards Christmas and I'm on a pretty tight budget of $250.00 for a Graphics Card, RAM, DVD Drive/CD Drive, New Case..... So I am looking at these two cards..

SAPPHIRE Radeon 9600XT 100575-RED Video Card - $94.00
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102450

SAPPHIRE Radeon 9800SE 566-BLK Video Card - $98.00
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102433

Which of these has the greatest performance? How much will they OC to? Would the 256mb be better than the 128mb? And how many Pixel Pipelines will I be able to unlock? Any extra information about these two cards will be much appreciated... I will be using FreeBSD Linux/Unix as my OS until I get more money

The 9800SE should flash to a 9800Pro I think.. But also, I dont think ATI releases many/any linux drivers, so you may have to rethink this purchase..

I just need the card for playing such games as BF2 and Counter Strike Source But if ATI doesn't have any Drivers or Software for Linux/Unix I will have to look at the NVidia's.

Dunno for sure (easiest way would be to check ATi's site, duh... ), but I've heard a couple people say ATi either doesn't have Linux drivers or they suck... Can't speak of nVidia's either, cause I just recently took the step into Linux (Ubuntu! ), and haven't even gotten to install my drivers yet.

If its the 128bit 9800SE then the 9600XT will be faster but if its the 256bit 9800SE then it will be faster plus it can be moded (dont know the success rate)
Very nice!
