He wants to sell his current pc and rebuilt a new one with the money or buy a Xbox 360 with a TV. He can't buy a 7800 GTX with a dual core CPU comp with 1000$

Well, Thats over-exhaudurating (Spelling?) a bit.. More like $500-600, But still thats alot of money for a Video card alone..

Xbox360 and the TV, You could probably grab a fairly nice 20inch+ LCD TV for that money, Maybe dump in a bit more and get a nicer one.

PC games are better. I play console (Xbox and PS2) and PC games and have done for many years, and In my opinion PC games offer a more cerebral and advanced experience. However, if i were a newcomer to the gaming world, and my PC gaming skills and tastes hadn't developed over time with the evolution of PC hardware and games, i'd probably find console games more accessible and immediately enjoyable than PC games. So it depends. If I had neither, but was a seasoned gamer, I'd want the PC. If I were not, then I'd want the Xbox 360, as it represents the peak of console gaming.

Exaggerating??? Is that what you mean, Shawn?

If you are going to sell your computer, I would recommend getting another one for that price, unless you have a spare rig you can use.

If you weren't selling your current rig, then I would suggest getting an Xbox 360 and a TV tuner for your rig and a bigger monitor so you can play your Xbox on your computer!!!

Well, christmas is coming up , spend a lil extra, it would be worth it in the long run...because it really is true that system would be able to compete with an xbox, plus with physics processors coming out , i think xbox will go bye bye.
