If you go with a SD3700+ you will get just as much processing power with it OCed.
Otherwise, ASUS vs DFI... DFI will offer you more BIOS tweeks.
Either way with the MB, a very nice system you configured there with IMHO the CPU cost of the FX. With the money you save you could also up the volume of the RAM

But a few here that I recall ... sorry, not to up on them and they seem to be all about the name. It was originated with an Intel line and carried over to improve sales of the AMD line.
Anyway, the guru of design @ Abit jumped ship a while back and he is at DFI now so it would seem that is why the DFI AMD line is so good. Plus, there is a lot of support with many very accomplished DFI/AMD builders here.

OH!!!
A belated WELCOME to "The Greatest OCing Forum on the Planet" to you too

I have the AN8 Fatal1ty and I can only recommend it if you can make sure the memory will work well. Currently I'm having problems running mine at anything over stock. However if the memory has no problems with it I have gotten over 350FSB (with a 7x multi, 3ht, and a heavy divider on the ram) and the board is completely stable. Other than that one issue (which is being worked on) the board works quite well. Just make sure the memory has been working on it. I'd suggest going to the Abit forums (link) and see what people have had good luck with if you decide to go with the fatal1ty.
