Thread Starter
I need help with this card, it installs fine and i loaded the drivers. The problem is that when i turn off my computer my monitor automatically turns to standby mode, and nothing will show up on my screen. So basically everytime i want to turn on my computer i have to go back to my Nvidia geforce 4mx (integrated) then reinstall my 9250, i dont really like having my computer on all the time so would someone please help?

I think the Nvidia Forceware drivers are conflicting with the ATI catalyst drivers.

It should, but there's a possibility it could be interfering. Try unistalling the Forcewares and also make sure you have the latest Catalyst driver versions.

You mean you didn't take the card out? If so why not? You want to remove the old card and remove the drivers too.

So I am guessing that you moved the appropriate jumper on the mobo to disable it, correct? Once you have done that and you unistalled the drivers go get drive cleaner and make sure you have everything off the system.

lol if u aint moved the jumper than it will be looking for a signal from the inbuild graphics : P u need to switch it then it will be fine the it will look for a signal from ure gcard. if u dont know hoe to do that then look in the manual online it will tell u the position of the jumper to se it right

i see so i also need to move the correct jumper so it will read the card at startup, and to see which one i must go for the online manual since it isnt with the retail one it came with.
