Big Typhoon + 125cfm fan ?

I'm thinking of buying a Big Typhoon and a 125cfm would it be a good combination? and is 40dba with 125cfm good?

anything over 100 or 110 should be fine.

If it's a bit to loud for you you could maybe looking at getting some dampner for your case buddy.

You'll probably get better cooling than what you're using right now but I save up a bit more and get a watercooling setup/kit that's a bit more flexible. That and personally I can't stand noise very much.

Well perhaps that's a discussion worthy of another thread, sorry -Jeppe-.

Phase change is not that loud, yes it's louder than stock cooling but I'd bet $100 that my Prometeia runs quieter than the 40dB fan that -Jeppe- is thinking about using. In my rig, the loudest thing is the stupid SilverStone PSU.

I have a typhoon with a 135cfm fan, its not that much louder with the stock fan, and cools very good, full load at 3.0ghz 41c.
