I was wondering when you install the Big Typhoon do you have to remove the Mb it should be here tomorrow

You have to remove the mb but its not that bad if you get inventive. I modified the instalation method so i dont have to remove it anymore

well had to put my typhoon back on because of some issues with my waterblock. I am using 1.76 vcore and im having 54C temps

With the k8 boards you really don't have to remove the motherboard to get it in there. Probably will make it easier to install though.

Still I think I'll remove it have to clean up my cabels at the same time so

Don't you have to take out the mobo and install the retyention plate they give you? I think I had to and a friend had to also. I have a typhoon and a 10cfm'r and it isn't that bad with the side wall on (not that sounds matters to me). Cleaning those cables up will help the air flow too =).

With the 939 socket cpus, you don't have to use the backplate. In fact the instructions said not to remove the stock backplate. I recently uninstalled my typhoon to lap it. The damn thing is pretty awkward to lap.
