Here is a list with a breakdown of ATI/AMD supported projects.
I would suggest MooWrapper or Collatz
Moowrapper and Collatz are awesome with my 6850.

(this in on a win7 box) this is prob nothing new to some of you but for everyone else... With SETI@Home AstroPulse, I was finding that my GPU utilization was VERY LOW! ~20% or something like that. freeing up a single core made that number jump to 60% while freeing up 2 made it jump to 75% utilization with finally 3 free cores being marginally better. The best result came with 1 core free and process priority set to high. SETI@HOME AP averaged ~90%. for those that are running Milkyway, I got those numbers up too! with the default process on open_CL set to normal milkyway was averaging 89% GPU. by setting priority to high that number climbed to 95% average.

Is there any way to change the default priority for GPU tasks to high? it only uses about 0.2% of processing time as it is

:::EDIT:::
YAY, MY NEW FANS ARE IN! going to the post office to pick them up so i can further overclock!

I believe Moo may have a problem running on 79XX series cards. You would be better off running DiRT, POEM, or Donate.

Yeah it does, and it's kinda annoying haha. Poem is good and so is DiRT. Donate has been running really dang hot for me on the 12.11 drivers so be careful there.

Figures, I have been running Poem though and so far in the past day or not quite, I have earned 763,565. Truly started according to the times 13 Nov 2012 | 17:42:45 UTC so all that from then to now, running 5 at a time since the first few. Oh and I am running OCed 1100/1600 from 925/1375 @ Stock volts. Temps are good too for being on air, 60c core and 50-52c vrm.

Seems I have a bit strange problem. My screen artifacts if BOINC is crunching in the background (Einstein@home) - it's the sig rig. A 6770 under water which is not connected to any displays and 7870 with stock cooler and stock settings which is driving 5 displays in Eyefinity. On 6770 temps are normal (up to ~45C under full load after the water temp stabilizes) and on 7870 temps seem acceptable as well (66 C although GPU load itself is kinda light). I am running 2 GPU tasks per GPU (takes approx 700 MB of vRAM that way so nothing really chokes when running on background).

Any ideas ? Is it vRAM not being properly cooled by the stock cooler or some known driver issue ? I'm running 12.11

For me it helped with GPU utilization if I run couple of projects per GPU. 0.33C + 1 GPU resource share per GPU project.
