I didint say that it will be not supported by the developers.
Sony has lost alot of support, some of the big makers have also pledged to make games for the Revolution and Xbox 360. And with the rumored production costs on the PS3 due to the Cell (which isnt worth all those costs IMO..) they have actually just lost some support from smaller companies.

Everyone is arguing over the 360 and the PS3, but they forgot that the Revolution will simply PWN.

Yeah.. The Xbox GPU also has 48 unified shaders compared to the PS3's 24 pipelines... So, dont just post clock speed. Thank you.

I think you are wrong in that. Cell is the future to the next cpu's and its development is doing good to the future copmuter technologies. I think in the near future, AMD and Intel will use that kind of cpu's to their own systems.
Ofc, if Sony, Toshiba and IBM agrees to sell it.

In every day use, the Cell would be beaten by a AMD or Intel processor (at a reasonable speed). The Cell is basically a loading dock.. The 7 SPE's "unpack" data and simplify it then give it to the PPE which processes it the rest of the way and sends data to RAM GPU, ect. While with a AMD or Intel processor it just does that all in one step, while the Cell does it in many steps.. Its only useful if you are rapidly unpacking large files, which AMD and Intel just keep getting faster, but the concept may be used in large servers and such, but for home use its useless (and equally as useless to us overclockers)

Oh and accskyman, great job trying to cover your misinformation .. If you want to say it wins hands down post all the facts and dont just look at the processor, the graphics card is what matters. Heck, probably the only reason the PS3 has the Cell is because it can store alot of data on the Blue Ray discs.. Which still just leaves 1 processor to tend to the graphics card and everything... While the Xbox 360 has 2 cores dedicated to the graphics card, and the last one dedicated to computing tasks and physics.

Umm I still don't understand how the PS2 connects with the Xbox 360. It sounds like your just trying to find a reason to bash sony and make the xbox look better.

I dont love sony, but I do like them more than the other guys.
