How to monitor 4890 with Rivatuner? "SOLVED"

Thread Starter
I got a Sapphire HD 4890 Vapor-X and I would like to monitor core, memory, shader, fan speed and core usage through my G15 keyboard LCD with Rivatuner.

It seems like Rivatuner 2.24c don´t recognize my 4890 with 9.6, 9.7 or 9.8 drivers.

I read over at Guru3D that they have to customize Rivatuner to make this happen but it didn´t tell how, anyone know how to do this?

Riva tuner has a problem with Windows 7, that might be the problem.

I saw if you can turn of the driver signature option, it will just work fine. There is 3rd party software, but i stopped trying after a few fail.

I have no problem with Windows 7, it works fine with my GTX 285 and 4870X2.

Where do i find the "driver signature option"?

Everest doesn´t recognize my 4890 either but my GTX 285 and 4870X2 works fine though.

Not much help there guys, have to customize Rivatuner some how, maybe add something in the Riva Tuner.cfg file perhaps.

I want to see it in the LCD display on my G15 keyboard and I can´t do it with GPU-z, Rivatuner is the one to have for that.

Problem solved, I didn´t have access to either Overclocking or Monitor tab in Rivatuner as in the pics below

but just as I though, I needed a updated "Rivatuner.cfg" to make it work.

Many thanks to stangowner over at Guru3D, the home of Rivatuner.

Here´s the article where it´s and more, there´s also a bit of a tutorial about how to OC those 4890 also.

Working like a charm with all 48XX and CCC 9.8.

The file is attached below.

I found one more little thing that can be handy to have, Rivatuner GPU Monitor Vista Sidebar Gadget, run it together with Rivatuner and it looks like this, there´s a lot of option to customize it.
