dude he wil not need 1100W of power, i believe a good sturdy 600W+ should be fine (although that 1000W sounds really cool (pc mag.))

I mean 1000W of power with 1100W on full load.

you wouldn't need FSB over 250. Stock cooling should be sufficient unless you plan on phase. The mushkin I have shown has the speed, timings aren't as important.

dual core 2.8 GHz, 7800GTX Ultra SLI, 4GB RAM, 4x raptor in raid? it's a haas.

No game will be mullti-threaded for at least a year, so that X2 4800+ is just a 4000+ San Diego gaming-wise. I would go with the FX-57.
