Hello, I have the same board as you, and although I didn't go to ur new topic or read this whole topic, I know the solution:

Set RAM timing to 2T.

No thanks needed =P

You're going to wish you did, since he already has it at 2T.

ketiko, if all goes as planned, tomorrow is the big day for re-assembling that Asrock system. Matt's parts are supposed to be in, and then he's buying some parts from me to complete it (venice, mobo, x800xt-pe, hard drive). If all goes well, I'll have a post for you tomorrow night about it. It will, however, be from the perspective of OCWB1 (since it's the only bios I truly like on that board, and consequently the only one that works with the volt mod )

Hey, good news. I found the problem. It was my video card. I was looking in everest and noticed that my video card was at 425Mhz core and 520MHz mem which is 6% oc'ed. So I go into the atitool and I can set it back to default 400 and 490 but then it freezes and reboots. If i go over the 6% it freezes and reboots. I've tried uninstalling atitool, I thought it might have a jacked up setting that was keeping it oc'ed, but that didn't change it. In any case, she has worked for 4 days now. The first reboot was today when I switch the video card's core/mem. So I'm pretty confident that the video card is/was the problem. I'm fine with it at 6% oc'ed. My benchmarks are fine and I can play 2-3 hours games without any problems. I could never get it to consistantly reboot, but I can now. Just by changing those vid settings. It's weird. Maybe i'm totally wrong, but in any case it's looking good.

Let me know how it goes with Matt's comp. I'm curious if there is a setting for the Trc.

Over clocking help with the asrock 939 dual

Ok I was running at 217/100 X 11 = Ran at about 2.4 with the ram set to 166, so ram speed was about 180. I can't be for sure because im not at home looking at this.

OK so here what I did to try to get my ram speed up.
Went to 240/100 X 10 and brought my Ram to about 200. This is what I want!!!!!

My only problem is, when I reboot it resets my multipler back to 11, and keeps my settings @ 240/100 x 11 clocking my in the range of 2.9 i believe. Anyways what can i do to fix this???

Alright ketiko - built up Matt's comp with the board - and lo and behold - nothing to set Trc. Sorry bud - must have been a different bios rev or something (either that or I confused that with the arms bazaar of options on my DFI board). Glad to hear that you found that it was your videocard though, and that you got it worked out.

This is my first major OC in which I've done alot of trial and error, 2.5 runs stable where 2.6 gives me random blue screens. Prime95 gives no errors on both cores.

I've read many times that my memory runs 1:1 at 250 with 3.3.3.8 timings but I can't get it to do it. The Bios gives hard-drive failures and the bios setup fails to load fully. right now I'm at a 10X multi, 250 FSB, 800 HTT, DDR333 mem freq (208 effective) High mem voltages, 1.4 core voltage, AGP Fast writes enabled.

When you up it to 2.6 are you changing the FSB or the multiplier? What are you setting it to when you increase to 2.6? *Edit: If you want to run your memory at 1:1 then you don't set it to 333MHz, you do 400MHz. But that will be faster than your memory can handle.

At 2.6 I'm using a 260-265 FSB with 10x multi, X3 HTT and 3.3.3.8 T2 timings on the ram at DDR333, I've been able to run the ram at 220mhz 1:1 which is really slow IMO. Is it better to run the proc slower in order to run the RAM at 220ish? or am I better off with lower latency/200-210mhz ram than a higher clock on the ram and really lax on the timings?
Edit: Oh, and I'm using 4 banks of 512, even on stock speeds I can't use T1 because it won't boot. I think this is a AMD64 issue if I remember right, or am I doing something wrong?
