Weird RAM

So I have 2 sticks of 512DDR-PC3200 ram, made from different companys, and for some reason my computer says I have only 960MB of ram. What could be the problem?

Thats because of the RAM that is dedicated to the onboard vid card.
1024 - 960 = 64meg of video RAM.
