Then again, not everyone wants to overclock it "all the way" even if it is a mild overclock, it's still good for most people, even so their temperatures won't reach 60c+. In the end, it saves a few bucks

I didn't say anything about overclocking all the way. Better cooler means lower temps which means longer cpu life, etc.

Only decent?? I have this at 3.623ghz right now and my temps max at 62c in prime.. I havent even started lowering my voltages yet either I just made a guess at 1.26v.. I thought that was pretty good for 29 dollars..

I only said decent because I was comparing it to the high-end coolers such as the Prolimatech Megahalems and such

When I had my CPU at 4.0GHz (1.41v), Idle was 36c, Maximum Load was 70c. But I now have my CPU at 3.8GHz (1.4v) with HyperThreading on, Idle is 36c, Maximum Load is 74c.

Both temperatures was taken with a ambient temperature of 22c.

X3340 @ 215 bclk DDR3-2150 running without vdroop (LLC enabled) and the board overvolts to 1.329v at load. Using a kit of GSKILL Trident. I've tried this overclock with 19 multi but the temps are a bit diffulcult to control on air and I'm still waiting on a 1156 adapter for my GTZ water block.
