Yes, but I could not get a stable run in Prime95 at those settings. I did have 200 x 20 and 1600MHz but temps were hitting 90c and 15 - 20 min in, bang BSOD. I am open to suggestions though.

Is there any reason why linus suggests taking speed step off in the bios? Will leaving it on cause problems? I know some people leave this on... Got this running at 3.8ghz now with 1.26v and 1600mhz on the ram 15 minutes of prime is all ive ran so far with it 67c max...

Hmm, are your spread spectrums off? Also try adjusting your PCI-E Freq. to 102-103 and then 200bclock, strange how just 9 more bclock is affecting your temps. that way, what is your max temp. at 191?

Speed step drops the multiplier down to 6x whenever the computer is idle.

Having the multiplier constantly changing can't be good for stability.

The processor is designed to handle 133x6 fine, but when you start changing things you could have an OC at 4GHz that's completely stable, but is unstable every time the multiplier changes.

Ahh good point. I have tried to do the windows experience test in windows 7 but it will go through the test then at the end not give me the results because it says there was an error somewhere. I can do 15 minutes of prime though. Any ideas?

It does fine with 5 minutes of intel burn test also...

5 Minutes isn't going to do anything, other than show you that it won't BSOD on you within 5 minutes, it takes hours to do a stability test, not just minutes.

I thought the intel burn test was supposedly an equivalent of many hours of prime?
