Got them going, minus one 295 core.
For some reason w7 will not see the hdmi output of my 295 :swearing:
I'll fart around with it again, right now I want to make sure the 2 cards will play nicely for a couple of days.

Oh yeah, my 5870 gpu usage dropped to ~75% from 99% when I started the nv client, dropping the avg. for the 5870.

Hmm I may have to try this when I get the GTX 260 I just bought off bluedevil. I didn't really want to shelf my 4890 so I may use the 260 for PhysX and try to fold on both of them.

Well once I figure out where the hell UPS delivered my Win 7 to that is. They're getting an angry phone call first thing Monday morning.

WEll that's no fun. A few questions....
#1 Can I fold on nvidia 6200. I am pretty sure the answer is no.
#2 Would running a crappy card such as that even benefit overall PPD, or would another GPU client just take away too much from my CPU?

#3 As a general rule, when wanting the most PPD should GPU Console Client be used?
Thread Starter
No you can't fold with the 6200. GPU console client is almost always more efficient than CPU. Console clients of each are said to be more efficient than their tray counterparts.

Tried it on my 4850 & 8800GT, drivers install fine and both screens work. (win XP, OP-suggested drivers)
Added flag -gpu 0 in one and -local on both but the nvidia is taking all the load. It's folding two 353 pointers at 2.1k PPD each..
Tried switching the flags but no result.
Any ideas?

Edit: Oh and the rig is acting pretty slow since.

I think I had it running right in Win 7 with a 4890 and a GTX 260 but the 260 was folding at about 2/3 capacity like that so I had to seperate them.

add the -gpu 1 flag to the other, that should split the load
