So ok heres my issue i have been able to install doom 3 and its expansion on my computer. Along with Need For Speed Undergroud and call of duty 2 but when ive tried installing such things as project snowblind and F.E.A.R. it will not play. I know for a fact that only project says anything at all about not supporting my video card a small over sight on my behalf... yet none of the rest say they dont support it or they do but they have worked.. cept for FEAR which really sucks! But i looked at quake4 and my video card was not listed on the list..... and it doesn specificly say my vid card isnt supported which is the one on my specs keep in mind this is a laptop... So my question is does anyone know if i can play quake 4??? Ive tried looking on the sight nothing was said and i did a search on google nothing came up so i figured id post this and see if anyone can help me out here!!!! and if yall can plz recommend some other FPS that i could play... cuz i mean obviously im a fan. THX for the help im sure ill get since overclock.net is trully a great place for help!!

Hmm, Quake 4 shouldn't be a problem since its on an OpenGL based Doom 3 engine. Its the DX9 games that your PC has a problem with. It wont run very smooth though. Look at 640x480 lowest settings and it will still chug in places.

I would look into building a gaming desktop if I were you.

I always find it funny that these people complain about performance in games when their video card is not even supported or listed.

Sorry but i think your out of luck.

The gf4 mx is one of the worst cards to game with because for 1 it's waek and 2 it isn't even supported by half the games that have been recently released. I would suggest for those games at least a 6600.

EDIT: SORRY I just relised that it is a laptop that you are on, sorry.
