Alright...Ive decided im either going with a 7800GT or G.Skill ddr600

299 vs 199 with my $300 budget...

i seriously dont know how many times i need to say that a 7800 is not what u need. a 6600GT is what u need these days, dont spend ur money.

I would get the 7800GT. That will give you the most improvement.

Yeah, but Im gettin watercooling for my CPU and I dont know if my RAM is holding me back or not...thats why its such a tough decision...

If you want to play games maxed out on a res higher than 1024x768, definately go with the 7800GT. I will get you much farther than another GB of RAM would now. I used to think I needed more RAM too when I had my X800 Pro, but then I got my 7800GT and all my problems went away. Go for the card.

Well, see thats the thing...I think the only thing about my ram thats holding me back is well...using it for OCing...unless my water cooling gives me another 200mhz out of it LOL.
