Cooler Master UHAF 932 Prototype Concept Rig - Page 10

Nice! I like the switch on the outside idea. I got some more UV bulbs so I'll be installing them eventually. As for the switches... I was looking for a good place out if the way to mount them. Right next to the Cooler Master logo on top is looking good for me. I just have to extend the wires to get the switches there. Next problem will be where to hide all the circuits for them but I'll probably tuck them in a drive bay hidden away. I've been working on my extended floppy cable but soldering and heatshrinking 32 tiny little wires is driving me nuts but its coming slowly but surely.

Oh sweet! Post those pics! I was planning to drill a hole and screw the switch bracket into the plastic, but I lucked out when I cut the hole. It fit nice and snug in there.

If only I could find some waterblocks for my pair of GTX 260 65nms, I'd be able to complete my whole vision. It kinda ticks me off how quickly EVGA discontinued my card in particular(216 Core Superclocked Editions). Man I swear I found the very last one available in the world for sale new(Thanks ZipZoomFly) so I could make my SLI pair match. So now waterblocks are impossible to find. It looks like I'll be buying a new set of VGAs.

Thanks a million guys!!! I am disabled, so I've got lots of time to play Of course after the 3rd, I have the feeling that I'll be stuck in Dragon Age: Origins.

Oh! -I found that I've gained some more room for overclocking through changing around the airflow. I'm sure cleaning out the VGAs, replacing all the thermal pads on the mosfets and gddr3, plus a new fine arse layer of AS5 for the GPUs reduced the ambient temp inside the case as well. CRAP!!! It didn't even occur to me that I'll be able to O/C the VGAs more now too. Tomorrow will be a fun day!

-That is after we go pick out some pumkins at the farm.

http://www.dangerden.com/store/dd-ti...tx280-260.html

These are the older GTX260 water blocks from Danger Den. In the features tab you'll see in bright red "Not compatible with 55nm GTX260 Series"... because these are for the 65nm series. I'm actually using the DD block GTX285 V2 for mine and it works fine.

EK Waterblocks also carries a 280/260 model full coverage water block for both the 65nm and 55nm series 260s. I've found a couple places that still stock them but you have to make sure you do in fact have the 65nm older series cards before dropping the cash on them

Yeah this cable is aggravating and slow. Gotta go REAL slow with the exacto knife to not expose the wires!

I'll post a longer log in my thread later when I finish it but for now here's some intermediate shots:

Not to thread steal. Just an idea
