What the hell is this? It claims to be a 16dBA 54.4CFM 1400RPM 130MM fan that fits into 120mm fan holes! Is this true? If so I am totally buying me some of those!

The fan that comes with the Big Typhoon is also 16 dBA so that is very possible.

No, I was saying how does a 130mm fan fit into a 120mm hole? It seems to me that the thing around the fan is VERY thin, has anyone used one of these?

I just checked out thermaltake's website from the link on the newegg page. It's specificially for the sonictower, but hey... if it works it sure looks cool.

It says compatible with standard 120mm fan holes. So I think me and my brother are buying new computers and when they come, if either is too loud, we will swap out the 120mm fans (1 in his case, 5 in mine!) with these. Thanks for the help guys (lol)

all they had to do it make the plastic around the fan thinner so they can fit a bigger fan in there, it will work fine

All it has is a 130-120mm fan adapter. Not that hard to engineer one on a fan with that size.

I didn't mean how did they manage such a thing, all I wanted to know was if someone had tried it and if it indeed did work. The cases I MIGHT stick this into are an ASUS Vento 3600 Black and a Antec P180, neither of which are in my possession, yet.

BTW this is Remonster, I forgot my brother was logged in, lol!
